Summer is in full swing

I can't believe we are already on the 22nd day of the month. McCayla is quite enjoying her time off from school, and Evan is chomping at the bit to get to school.

Both of them are in Vacation Bible School this week, so that is an exciting time for them. I already did my time, offering my tye dyeing expertise at the Dye Shop. I still have the messy, stained hands from it. The kids loved it! But my shop closed down Tuesday night, so I was released from VBS captivity. I wish I could say the same for my friends. Poor Robin has been blessed with a challenging group, and I do NOT envy her one bit.

Evan has Safety Town starting next week, and then he and I will be taking a Mom and Me piano class for a week in July. Miss M will go to the pool for swimming lessons from the American Red Cross. And Jenna... she just hangs out and gets in the water whenever she has a chance.

So really, not much of anything, but a lot of stuff going on for the summer. The kids are having a great time, and that is all that matters.
